The language used is very powerful. Old styles of addressing people were used such as Mister (men) and Goody or Goodwife (women). In the writing there is often a rhythm found. In The House Of Bernada Alba, Frederico Garcio Lorca uses totally different language. The language he uses is poetic and emotive. He conveys the emotions by using metaphor, symbols and imagery. Traditional Spanish songs and ballads can be seen throughout the play. The poetic imagery is used to express the fate destiny and tragedy of the play.
